MapLink is used alongside PT-Mapper and turns your digital map into a true GIS (Geographical Information System). It lets you connect any feature on a map to information about that feature that might be held in Microsoft Excel ®, Access ® or in text files so that clicking on a map immediately shows the relevant data.
The principle of MapLink is simple: you specify the map, you specify the data source to be used and MapLink does the rest. A simple wizard helps you to create a link and once done, the link is saved for future use.
Using the optional AddressMap, customer, prospect, membership addresses etc. can be automatically added to a map so you can visualise immediately where your business is.
MapLink lets you colour areas according to category or variable, you can ring round an area on the map and create a selective report about just that area. Maps or part maps can be printed at any scale on any size paper.
